Purkiss

At just 7" tall (18cm), Purkiss is mainly hand stitched. Made from a heavily distressed, porridge (a little paler than he shows in his photos) coloured mohair with woolfelt pads, he has glass eyes, a mossy brown, waxed nose and hand painted detail to his face. His mohair has been plucked, trimmed and stained to give the appearance of a worn older bear.  He is filled with woodwool and weighted with steel granules. He has a nice weight and his slightly slumpy, wrinkled tummy gives him a lovely posture.  Vintage linen handmade sailor collar trimmed with a blue stripe ribbon..
