PURCHASING A BEAR, SHIPPING & RETURNS ...

All of the teddy bears and their accessories found on this website are designed and handmade by me, Victoria Allum. The materials used in the creation of these bears are sourced from specialist teddy bear making outlets from around the world. Materials used include German mohair, alpaca, glass eyes, wool felt, linen, polyester fibre and woodwool stuffing, steel shot for added weight and cotter pin joints. Each bear is individually crafted and as such is "One of A Kind". However, varyings combinations of designs, mohair and accessories may be repeated at anytime. ​ I have made every effort to be as accurate as possible with product descriptions, however all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements noted on this site are approximate. ​ PleaseNote: Due the nature and materials used my products are collectable handmade items and are not intend for children under the age of 14

My shopping pages will take you through the steps you need to take to place an order. When purchasing a bear please ensure you select the correct postal destination, under payment for your postal destination may result in your payment being returned and your order cancelled. Orders are taken on first come basis & we reserve the right of refusal & the right to cancel purchases. You will receive emails to confirm your order has been placed. All customs duties and import taxes due in the destination country are payable by the recipient.

We accept all major credit/debit cards via our secure payment provider, Wix Payments. We do not currently accept PayPal. We do not currently offer layaway.

United Kingdom Shipping UK delivery will made either by DHL 48 Hour Parcel (or similar courier service) or by Royal Mail Special delivery service (next day), depending on the size of your bear. I will contact you after purchase to confirm a suitable delivery day. United States Shipping & Tariffs We are now shipping to the United States with Royal Mail International Tracked (5-7 Business days) or Parcelforce Global Priority (4 working days ). Please be aware that tariffs will be applied at checkout which will allow your parcel to pass through US Customs and arrive with you "Delivered Duties Paid". These tariffs will be paid directly to the United States Government via Royal Mail when your shipment is booked. Please note, if you fail to take receipt of your parcel and do not make further arrangements with the carrier for re-delivery, this will most likely result in the bear being returned to me after 5 days (this maybe variable based on carrier policy). If this situation should arise, unfortunately the original shipping costs, tariffs (when Delivered Duties Paid) and any return shipping costs, that may be incurred, will be deducted from the refund. A refund will be issued one I am in receipt of the bear, Following recent updates to global tariffs,( Oct 2025), a minimum 10% customs duty is now applied to all goods entering the USA that are manufactured in and shipped from the UK (when shipped via local postal service - Royal Mail via USPS). Currently, all customs duties and tariffs are payable at point of checkout and are Delivered Duties Paid, with no further charges payable on your order upon entry into the USA and delivery to you. Due to restrictions on item value via this service, orders with combined items valued at over £500 will be shipped separately. ​ Unfortunately, as a result of the new system of tariffs and courier services incurring additional costs to ship, I am no longer offering shipping services via USPS and Fedex at checkout.   You will be notified by email with your tracking number once your order has been shipped. Depending on your chosen shipping service, signature may be required upon delivery, so please select an address where someone is available during business hours to receive your order.  ​ (Please note that these are estimated provided by the courier companies and I cannot guarantee shipping times) ​ Smaller bears (6"-13") will ship with Royal Mail International Services (Tracked 5-7 business days) Larger bears (14"-20") will ship with Parcelforce Global Priority (Tracked & Signed for 3-4 business days) Shipping Regions We ship worldwide, but unfortunately due to changes in European packaging laws and more recently new EU General Product Safety Regulation legislation, we NO LONGER SHIP to the following European countries: • Austria • Belguim • Bulgaria • Croatia • Cyprus • Czechia • Denmark • Estonia • France • Finland • Germany • Greece • Hungary • Iceland • Ireland • Italy • Latvia • Lithuania • Luxembourg • Malta • Netherlands • Poland • Portugal • Romania • Slovakia • Slovenia • Spain • Sweden Shipping costs will be automatically applied during checkout and all shipping is based on volumetric weight. All parcels are sent within 3 days of payment being received unless otherwise specified. Once your bear has shipped you will receive a tracking number by email with details of the carrier. All parcels are sent fully insured, we will not under any circumstances undervalue the item for the purpose of the avoidance of import duties and taxes. All customs duties and import taxes due in the destination country are payable by the recipient. Also please note delivery times are stated in good faith but clearance at customs may cause delays. Customs at destination country are a government run Authority which carriers are unable to influence in the event of their intervention. There is no limit to the amount of time Customs can hold your goods. Please ensure you select the correct postal destination when making your purchase, under payment for your postal destination may result in your payment being returned and your order cancelled.

Whilst we hope that you will be delighted with your new bear, we understand that sometimes you may want to return your purchase. So in accordance with the UK Distance selling regulations you are entitled to cancel within 14 days of delivery of the item. A full refund is available subject to the item being returned securely packaged, undamaged and in its original condition. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receiving the item. Refunds do not include postal charges and deductions will be made for custom charges if incurred within the UK for returning the item. Items must be returned fully insured, we will not accept liability for missing, or damaged items in the post. Additional Information for USA - Failure to take receipt of your parcel Please note, if you fail to take receipt of your parcel and do not make further arrangements with the carrier for re-delivery, this will most likely result in the bear being returned to me after 5 days (this maybe variable based on carrier policy). If this situation should arise unfortunately the original shipping costs, tariffs (when Delivered Duties Paid) and any return shipping costs (including tariffs charged for re-entering the UK), will be deducted from the refund. All of my bears are packaged in new materials that are suitable for recyling. My standard packaging consists of a double walled carboard carton made from 70% recylced materials and acid free tissue paper. Where possible, please recycle my packaging materials - thank you!
