Piccolo

At 10 inches tall, Piccolo has been made from a semi sparse stone coloured mohair that has been hand distressed, with trimming shaving and plucking, to give him the appearance of a lightly worn, older bear.  His paw pads are a soft shade of biscuit colour woolfelt. He has been softly filled with a mix of woodwool, polyester fibre and is weighted with steel granules. His antique wooden boot button eyes and mossy brown stitched and waxed nose, have been gently enhanced with hand painted detail. Piccolo is cotter pin jointed. He wears a hand made two tone cotton muslin clown suit in burgundy and pale pink, trimmed with burgundy pompoms.  His little hat is made from hand dyed pale pink wool felt, edged with pale pink pompoms and finished with larger burgundy pompoms.  To complete his ensemble he wears a pale pink tulle ruffle trimmed with further pink pompoms.
