Minou

Minou is just 9" tall and has been created from a felted, dark chocolate brown mohair that has been lightly distressed with a little plucking and shaving on her paws, toes, ears and head.  She has pale biscuit woolfelt pads, glass eyes and a black embroidered and waxed nose. Her face has been subtly shaded for added expression. Minou is 5 way split pin jointed and filled with woodwool. Her posture is enhanced by sealed bags of steel weight in her tummy, paws, and toes.
 
Minou wears a pale pinkish tan dress with a double layered skirt, made from hand dyed, cotton lawn and muslin and trimmed with cream crochet cotton lace.  Her dress fastens at the back with two vintage buttons and hand sewn loops.
