Gio

Gio measures 11.5" from his heels to the top of his head. He is a rather scruffy but bold little soul, having been made from a sparse, heavily distressed aqua mohair that has been aged with staining, trimming, plucking and shaving, to give the impression of an older bear. The colour of the mohair is probably a little bit stronger than it appears in some of his photographs. His ivory foot pads have also been lightly stained to give a little age. He has black English glass eyes, a mossy brow , embroidered and waxed nose and hand painted shading to his face. Gio is filled with wood wool, polyester fibre and steel granules. He wears an aqua ribbon with scalloped edges and small ivory flower motifs.
