Poor Arrietty is a little worse for wear ... inspired by Japanese "Boro" mending this 14" bear is made from Ukrainian rustic linen which has been distressed, stained and patched using pretty floral and striped linens. Her seams are visible having been sewn with dark grey thread and she has also been embellished with random rustic flowers and french knots. With a mossy brown, waxed embroidered nose and claws, she has sublte hand painted shading to her face for added character. Filled with a mix of woodwool, polyester fibre and steel shot, the linen has been fully interlined for durability. She takes her pretty name from one of this little characters in the children's book series, "The Borrowers". Arrietty wears a very soft pink satin ribbon bow.
