Anne

Inspired by the title character of Anne with an E, the Netfilx adaptation of Anne of Green Gables this is Anne. 
 
She is 11" tall and has been made from a fabulous copper on tan coloured mohair. The tips of her ears, paws and toes have been lightly plucked and trimmed.  She is 5 way cotter pin jointed and is filled with woodwool, polyester fibre and heavily weighted with steel granules.  She has a  mossy brown. stitched and waxed nose, glass eyes and a little hand painted detail to her face.  Like her namesake she wears a brown/beige cotton dress, overdyed to have a slightly patchy and faded appearance, a handmade, teastained cotton pinafore and a little paper flower crown.
