Sablé

At just 6.75" tall (18cm), Sablé (a little biscuit from the Breton region of France) is my smallest traditional style design to date and as such is hand stitched. Made from a lightly distressed, green-gold mohair with woolfelt pads, he has glass eyes, a black waxed nose and hand painted detail to his face. He is filled with woodwool, polyester fibre and weighted with steel granules. He has a nice weight and his slightly slumpy, wrinkled tummy gives him a lovely posture.  He wears a pale gold distressed viscose ribbon bow, trimmed with an antiqued bell.
